Device display updates to identify which caller you are speaking to when flashing from one call to another.
Updated audio alerts for Voice calls and/or device.
Modifications to alarm settings.
Special Instructions: Some features require BlackBerry Enterprise Server (BES) version 4.1, Service Pack 5. Check with your BES Administrator for details.
NOTE: Downloading the software and completing the software upgrade process with your device may take up to 90 minutes. You will first need to ensure that you have BlackBerry Desktop Manager software installed on your PC before starting this download. If you need BlackBerry Desktop Manager software, go to the next section of this web page and download and install the software to your PC before following the steps below.
You must first determine if your device is an ESN or MEID device before proceeding with downloading the software update:
From your handset, go to the "Options" tool.
Select "Status".
If your device displays an MEID, select the link below "Download for MEID Device".
If your device displays an ESN, select the link below "Download for ESN Device".
