If you're a current customer upgrading to this phone
After you receive your new phone, you can activate it online. If you don't already have one of the data plans we offer today, you'll need to select one of the data plans listed above when you activate your phone.
Please note: If you switch from a plan we no longer offer, and for some reason you decide to go back to your old phone, please be aware that you won't be able to switch back to your old plan. However, you will be able to switch to other plans we currently offer.
Setup and first use of your Sprint ID Android phone
When you turn on your Sprint ID Android phone for the first time, you'll be asked to download an ID Pack. Then you'll setup connections to your email and social networking accounts like Facebook, Flickr and Twitter. You'll also be asked to accept Google's terms of use and privacy policy during activation. This info is used by some applications to give you local directions, weather and directory information.
What you need to know about accessing ID Packs
As a business account holder, you may encounter an error message (error 702) after you activate your Sprint ID device. This error will occur if your account is not set up to allow Premium Content. If you are affected by this error, contact your company's telecom manager to change your account settings. This change can be made within the My Preferences area of My Sprint. Until you are able to download new ID Packs, you may continue to use the My ID pack on your device.
